Job Description

Meridian is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for their client in Mossville IL.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide manufacturing support to engine builds/testing.

  • Standard work, tooling design, tooling orders, BIQ walk backs.

  • Provide manufacturing solutions to the assembly and disassembly of engines.

  • Provide analysis to drive to root cause and/or determine improvements, and lead projects to develop and implement solutions.

  • Troubleshoot day-to-day issues, develops solutions, and monitors improvements.

  • Procure materials related to manufacturing improvements through external suppliers.

  • Respond to customer issues and lead process improvements.

  • Improve Value Stream metrics by defining and implementing process improvement activities.

  • Lab/Office environment

    • EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology or a relevant field will be considered regardless of experience. Alternatively, candidates with a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience are also eligible for consideration.

    • TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Design experience (Creo preferred).

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

  • Engine or testing experience desired.

  • Strong communication skills

    • Contract: 12 months with extension. Must be onsite.
