Manufacturing Engineer

JOB FUNCTION :

• Improve and support CTO process and production facility/equipment for Sun server products.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create/maintain production line layout.


• Order/maintain production line equipment.
• Co-ordinate process improvement projects.
• Work with PMs on quarterly capacity analyses (via time studies, takt time analysis, throughput, etc.).
• Support customer requests and assist with tours/audits of the production line.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : Min. 5 years experience in manufacturing environment – CTO and/or system integration experience is a plus.

SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS :

• Knowledgeable on how to use layout creation software – i.e.
