Role Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, cost-effective, high-quality production. This role bridges product design, production, quality, and suppliers, supporting both NPI (New Product Introduction) and mass production.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and document manufacturing processes, work instructions, SOPs, and routing
  • Define assembly sequences, tooling, jigs, fixtures, and line layouts
  • Optimize cycle time, takt time, manpower, and material flow
  • Ensure smooth transition from prototype to volume production
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke
  • Improve productivity through automation, fixtures, or process redesign
