Manufacturing Engineer

Gpac just partnered with a growing manufacturing company seeking a Purchasing Engineer.  Compensation is based on experience.  

Key duties:

• Manage Fabrication RFQs
• Communicate with customers RE their RFQs
• Create RFQ’s to steel suppliers and outsourced services (generally machining) for customer quotes using BOM’s, drawings, and/or models
• Create drawings using 2D Autocad and 3D Models 
• Assist in creating estimates by entering material pricing in ERP
• Purchase steel and outsourced services for winning bids

Experience:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering 
• 2+ years with Autocad and 2+ years with 3D CAD (Solidworks, Inventor or similar)
• 1+ yr purchasing of steel components 
• New grads or about to graduate are welcome to apply
