Job Description

Responsible for plant material transformation flow set-up and improvement, including optimizing manufacturing process flow, warehousing storage, dunnage design, and other facilities processes and layouts. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree or technologist diploma in engineering or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience
  • In depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, capacity calculations, material handling and storage, as well as the general operation of an industrial facility.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Engineering drawings, plant layouts and dunnage design
  • Ability to review scale drawings to ensure the proposed designs satisfy requirements and comply with manufacturing capabilities.
  • Ability to interact with technicians or technologists for tasks such as creating scale drawings, preparing specifications, writing proposals and developing plant maintenance schedules.
