As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will initiate and support continuous improvement activities, create metrics and reports for projects and processes, and document and improve processes. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring new employees, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting cross-functional teams. This role requires travel within the US for training and collaboration activities, especially in the initial months.
Responsibilities
+ Support New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineering by working with cross-functional teams from the conceptual phase through to the end-of-life phase.
+ Lead the NPI team during the Proof of Manufacturing and Production Ramp phase, ensuring readiness for production.
+ Practice and promote Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, Test, Reliability, and Service (DFx) guidelines.
+ Provide feedback during design reviews using DFx principles.
