The Role

Provide local quality support to Lenovo’s Manufacturing sites

with particular emphasis on PC products. Also be the main interface between broader WW teams in the China and rest of the countries regarding all matters relating to Mfg. Quality Engineering. 

Responsibilities

  • Assure Mfg. process quality plan
  • Development support of WW Mfg Quality Plans for New Products
  • Qualify / Certify New Mfg. lines during SVT & SOVP activity to the defined WWQE checklist
  • Ensure manufacturing sites perform consistently to Quality KPI’s
  • Manage the boxline fallout and FA for FPY, OOB (out of box audit) & XCSA (extended customer simulation audit)
  • Ensure mfg. site creates & maintains a robust ‘closed loop’ failure analysis system including ‘lessons learned’
  • Ensure mfg. site deploys Quality tools FMEA, Pareto Analysis and Process Improvements using Lean 6Sigma Tech...
