Position Description:
To provide operational and maintenance services to Norfolk County Port Dover Harbour Marina facilities to ensure that the docks, buildings, ramps, gas dock, gazebo's, pavilion and equipment are kept in a safe and attractive condition. Duties change seasonally.Also responsible for providing functional directional/guidance to Marina Attendants.Review assignments and schedules for maintenance and use of facilities and equipment at the start of each shift. Ensure that facilities are ready for use.Follow generally accepted maintenance and repair standards, administrative policy and practice and program of preventative maintenance.Implement safety procedures to ensure public safety at Port Dover Harbour Marina facility and eliminate any suspected safety hazards.Make daily and regular checks of equipment and record findings in logbooks.Work to achieve good relations with users and the public to...
