Are you an experienced Marine Cargo Surveyor with a passion for fieldwork and risk management? We’re looking for a talented professional to join our team in Chennai (field & office-based with extensive onsite travel across the Southern Region).

As a Marine Cargo Surveyor , you’ll execute pre-dispatch inspections, transit condition surveys, loading/unloading supervision, and loss-prevention assessments for ODC/Heavy Lift, break-bulk, bulk dry & liquid cargo. You’ll interact directly with clients, carriers, and insurers, prepare expert technical reports, and support risk management services.

Location: Chennai (field & office)

Experience: 3–4+ years in cargo surveying

Qualification: B.Tech / Engineering + IRDA license or valid surveyor accreditation

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-shipment & ODC inspections

• Cargo securing & lifting equipment checks

• Transit & condition surveys (break-bulk, project cargo)

• Loading/unloading supervision

• Draft, ullage, & bulk/liquid cargo surveys

• Professional reporting & client communication

• Fieldwork across Southern India (including odd hours)
