Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Marine Design Engineer with a strong background in the ship design and construction industry. The ideal candidate should be proficient in 3 D modelling software (experience with Rhinoceros is preferred) and possess the ability to interpret 2 D construction drawings and accurately convert them into detailed 3 D CAD models. A solid understanding of engineering outfitting systems is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret 2 D construction & layout drawings.
Converting 2 D drawings into 3 D models.
Prepare 2 D of ship tank plans, cargo spaces and ship views.
Develop 3 D models to support the development and configuration of our in-house software solutions.
Required Skills and Qualification
Minimum of 3 years of experience in ship structure & outfitting design
Should have the knowledge of marine terms
Proven experience in marine outfitting systems.
Command of the English language, both written and verbal.
