JOB SCOPE
- Handle vessel maintenance and repair.
- Maintenance of vessel documentations on board and in office.
- Planning of daily, weekly and monthly vessel schedules.
- Coordinate and create vessel berthing plans in Singapore.
- Preparation of vessel fuel consumption per monthly/voyage.
- Communicate with crew on board vessel with regards to any vessel related matters.
- Communicate with various authorities on vessel related matters (MPA, ICA, PSA, Jurong Port).
- Coordinate vessel arrival and departure in Singapore.
- Handle of crew salary and food allowances.
- Liaise with customers with regards to vessel specifications and/or technical issues.
- Handle and liaise with suppliers on vessel requisitions (inventories, bunkers. fresh water).
- Liaise with foreign agents on vessel arrival to foreign ports.
- Monthly upkeep of vessel ISM/1SPS/MLC on board and in office.
- Planning of vessel Annual, Intermediate and Renewal Surveys, including radio and safety equipment
- maintenance.
- Handle monthly vessel inspections.
- Inspection of vessel mooring landing/mooring sites.
- Attend vessel inspection and surveys.
- All other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Requirements
- Certificate of Competency (CoC) (Deck Officer) Class 1
- Good communication and people management skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Extensive knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $5, $6,500.00 per month
