Job Description
We are seeking a Content Manager to own the content vision, storytelling, and execution across marketing, branding, and video platforms. This role goes beyond writing—it requires strategic thinking, team leadership, and strong marketing understanding .
The ideal candidate will define how the brand speaks , lead content for high-impact campaigns, and mentor a team of writers while collaborating closely with design, video, social media, and performance marketing teams.
Core Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Brand Voice Ownership
- Own and evolve the brand voice, tone, and messaging framework
- Build and execute content strategies aligned with business, growth, and revenue goals
- Translate marketing objectives into clear content narratives
- Ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints (digital, video, offline)
2. Campaign & Marketing Content Leadership
- Lead content for brand campaigns, launches, and seasonal pushes
- Write and review copy for:
- High-impact campaigns & ads
- Social media & performance creatives
- Websites, landing pages, brochures, and offline collaterals
- Drive message clarity, persuasion, and conversion
3. Video Content Strategy & Storytelling
- Own the video content roadmap across platforms
- Conceptualize and script:
- Reels & short-form videos
- Brand films & testimonials
- YouTube & long-form content
- Performance ads & hooks
- Guide video editors on story structure, pacing, and messaging
- Review final outputs to ensure storytelling excellence
4. Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead, mentor, and review work of content writers / copywriters
- Set quality benchmarks, writing guidelines, and review frameworks
- Improve team efficiency through processes, templates, and playbooks
- Act as the final authority on content quality
5. Performance, Insights & Optimization
- Track and analyze content performance across platforms
- Improve engagement, watch time, CTR, and conversions through iteration
- Collaborate with performance marketing teams on ad copy testing
- Use insights to refine hooks, CTAs, narratives, and formats
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with design, video, social media, product, sales, and marketing leadership
- Participate in campaign planning and creative brainstorming
- Ensure content aligns with business intent, not just creativity
Skills & Expertise:
Must-Have
- Exceptional copywriting, storytelling, and editing skills
- Strong understanding of marketing funnels and consumer psychology
- Proven experience leading content for video and campaigns
- Ability to think both strategically and executionally
- Leadership mindset with strong feedback and mentoring ability
Good-to-Have
- Experience in education, publishing, or consumer brands
- Working knowledge of performance marketing, SEO, and analytics
- Experience managing agencies or freelancers
- Exposure to long-form video and YouTube content strategy
Experience & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in marketing content / copywriting
- Minimum 2–3 years in a lead or senior content role
- Strong portfolio showcasing campaigns, video scripts, and brand storytelling
- Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Journalism, or related field (preferred)
