Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to support the consumer marketing strategy for Canela Media. In this role, you will contribute to initiatives that drive acquisition and engagement for its free streaming platform, Canela.TV. Your goal is to support the Consumer Marketing Team for Canela Media by collaborating closely with cross-functional internal and external teams

The ideal candidate brings excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a strong eye for creative. You will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of campaigns, reinforcing the brand's voice across different channels and establishing trust and positive relationships with key stakeholders to help deliver strong and cohesive campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with marketing and creative teams to plan, review and deliver creative assets, for all paid, owned and earned channels like Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, Roku, VIZIO, Amazon Fire, Samsung, Google TV Ads, Audio Ads, House Ads, PR & Editorial, influencer, OOH, organic social, loyalty program, push notifications, in app messages, email and more.
  • Organize and maintain various shared trackers to streamline workflow and communication with internal teams.
  • Lead FAST Channel promotional efforts and collaborate with internal stakeholders on larger initiatives like FAST Channel launches and rebrands to ensure all assets are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Track and organize external editorial tentpoles and effectively translate them into internal requests for creative team.
  • Maintain a log of editorial submissions and selections by month and assist the team with documenting monthly marketing efforts across all other tactics.
  • Request, review and provide feedback for Spanish-language copy for press releases, social media and push notifications.
  • Coordinate and execute all MX-based and support with all US based talent activities while ensuring the highest level of quality is achieved for media days, including being present at the Canela Media office when needed for media days.
  • Work closely with programming/content team to identify priority titles to promote that will drive viewership and translate them into various creative requests.
  • Create QR codes and links to use on social media and owned campaigns to generate app downloads and drive viewership.
  • Continuously meet with performance marketing leads to determine which creatives need refreshing to maintain a high level of performance and cost-effectiveness
  • Assist in the planning and sourcing of loyalty program rewards while respecting applicable budgets and timelines for delivery.
  • Ensure requests and trackers reflect the latest strategy for loyalty program and all marketing efforts by continuously reviewing briefs and meeting with internal stakeholders
  • Review/analyze internal workflows on a regular basis to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience working with entertainment/streaming brands
  • Strong knowledge of Digital Media (display, video, OTT)
  • Detail-oriented, proactive and self-starter
  • Excellent communication, copy writing, critical thinking and organizational skills, multitasking abilities
  • Deep understanding of advertising effectiveness, attribution and optimization tactics
  • Comfortable interacting with talent and senior leadership
  • Proactively seek out new partnership opportunities for Canela's marketing campaigns
  • Proficient in Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel/Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Interest in following advertising and media trends
  • Working knowledge of media analytics software
