Lead Generation Intern
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lead Generation Intern to support our outbound growth initiatives. This role focuses on B2B outbound lead generation, including LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and multi-channel prospecting.
You will work closely with the Business Development function to identify potential clients, execute outbound outreach activities, manage lead data, and track engagement across platforms. This role is ideal for someone interested in sales operations, outbound marketing, or growth roles, and who enjoys research, communication, and structured outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify potential B2B prospects using LinkedIn, email databases, company websites, and other relevant platforms.
Build and maintain targeted lead lists based on defined criteria (industry, role, company size, region).
Support outbound lead generation campaigns across multiple channels.
Assist in managing LinkedIn outreach activities, including connection requests, follow-ups, and message sequencing.
Help draft and personalize outreach messages to improve response rates.
Monitor replies, engagement, and follow-ups to ensure timely action.
Support outbound email campaigns, including cold outreach and follow-up sequences.
Assist with list segmentation and basic personalization.
Track email performance metrics such as open rates, response rates, and meetings booked.
Update and maintain lead records in CRM systems or tracking sheets.
Qualify and tag leads based on engagement and readiness.
Assist in preparing simple outreach and lead performance reports.
Cross-functional Support:
Collaborate with marketing and growth teams to align outreach messaging.
Conduct light market and competitor research.
Support ad-hoc outbound and growth-related initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Strong written communication skills.
Good research and data organization skills.
Familiarity with LinkedIn and professional outreach etiquette.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Interest in B2B outreach, lead generation, or growth roles.
