Australian Technical College Western Australia (ATCWA) is a CRICOS-registered Training Organization (RTO 41279) delivering nationally recognized VET qualifications to domestic and international students. With campuses in Perth and Sydney, ATCWA provides industry-focused training across Management, Community Services, Hospitality, Cookery, Information Technology, Automotive, and Civil Construction Design.
We are experiencing continued organizational growth and are seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team at our Perth campus.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to develop, coordinate, and implement institution-wide brand, communications, and corporate marketing strategies that strengthen ATCWA’s organisational profile, reputation, and market positioning across regulated education and training environments. This position is based at our Perth campus only.
This role is suited to a marketing professional with strong experience in the Australian VET sector, CRICOS-compliant marketing, digital content management, and data-driven campaign planning.
This is a strategic, compliance-aligned marketing position and does not involve sales, admissions, or student recruitment activities.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and refining multi-channel marketing strategies and annual marketing plans.
- Conducting market research, competitor analysis, and sector trend assessments to inform strategic decision-making.
- Planning and managing integrated brand and communications campaigns across approved digital, print, and media channels to support institutional visibility and stakeholder engagement
- Overseeing brand governance and producing compliant, accurate marketing content including brochures, program guides, website copy, videos, and social media assets.
- Managing website updates to ensure accuracy, user experience quality, and alignment with ASQA, CRICOS, and National Code requirements.
- Developing brand guidelines, templates, and communication standards for consistent representation across platforms.
- Coordinating photography, videography, short-form content, and other media assets for campaigns and promotional purposes.
·Liaising with internal stakeholders, external service providers, industry bodies, and professional networks to support corporate communications, partnerships, and brand initiatives.
- Ensuring all marketing materials and communications meet ASQA, CRICOS, and National Code 2018 regulatory standards.
·Monitoring and analysing marketing performance metrics related to brand awareness, engagement, content reach, and communications effectiveness, and preparing analytical reports to support strategic planning and continuous improvement.
This position is a strategic marketing and communications role and does not involve student admissions, enrolment processing, recruitment counselling, direct course selling, lead conversion, or sales-based performance targets.
Skills & Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
·2–3 years of experience in a strategic marketing, brand, or communications role, preferably within regulated, professional, or compliance-driven sectors.
- Strong skills in planning, overseeing, and evaluating digital and integrated marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media strategy, analytics, email marketing, and content management systems.
- Experience developing compliant marketing content and working within regulated sectors.
- Competency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite.
- Ability to conduct structured market research and prepare strategic insights.
- Strong organisational capability to manage multiple projects, content workflows, and event coordination.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
