    • Your tasks

  • In this position, you will take on a wide range of animal care activities and ensure the best possible husbandry and care conditions for the animals at the site
  • You will ensure compliance with and implementation of the requirements of the Animal Welfare Act and be responsible for creating deployment and vacation plans
  • In addition, you will independently coordinate and monitor operations, commission maintenance work and manage the building technology
  • Your tasks will also include coordinating animal room management, monitoring hygiene and ensuring compliance with EHS guidelines

    • Your profile

  • Completed master craftsman qualification (e.g.Animal care foreman, industrial foreman or agricultural foreman) or comparable qualification
  • Practical experience in handling animals and knowledge of species-appropriate husbandry and care desirable
  • Extensive experience in the administrative area, especially in planning, organization and documentation
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office as well as an affinity and willingness to familiarize yourself with new systems
  • Knowledge of the relevant legal requirements (e.g.e.g. Animal Welfare Act) and their implementation
  • Confident handling of hygiene and EHS guidelines
  • Good communication and teamwork skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
  • Fluent German and good English skills
