Key Responsibilities
- Overall command of the vessel, crew, cargo, and navigation
- Ensure safe navigation and compliance with international rules and company procedures
- Oversee cargo operations, stability, and seaworthiness
- Lead, train, and motivate officers and crew
- Maintain high standards of safety, security, and environmental protection
- Handle communication with owners, charterers, agents, and authorities
- Keep proper logs, records, and reports
Requirements
- Valid Master Mariner (Unlimited) license
- Recent seagoing experience as Master or Chief Officer on bulk carriers
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Strong knowledge of bulk carrier operations, cargo handling, and stability
