Job Description
This role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and deep expertise in tanker operations and crewing. The incumbent will ensure operational excellence, adherence to safety and performance standards, and drive continuous improvement across all tanker vessels under management.
Position: Crewing Superintendent
Location: Chennai
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive growth and operational excellence within the Tanker fleet management business.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of tanker vessels, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and reliability standards.
- Drive adherence to group policies, vessel performance benchmarks, and global operational standards.
- Manage budgets for repair, maintenance, and service delivery, ensuring cost efficiency and financial control.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives across processes, systems, and manpower capabilities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and crew to ensure strong performance and succession readiness.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, vessel crews, regulatory bodies, and clients to ensure smooth operational delivery.
Looking for:
- Holding a valid Master COC.
- Candidate with minimum 6 months of experience in Crewing
