Master Scheduler

Primary Responsibilities:

 Build and maintain a feasible, capacity-constrained Master Production Schedule (weekly/daily buckets) aligned to S&OP/SIOP decisions.

 Translate the demand plan (forecast, orders, projects) into detailed production plans by line, cell, and work center.

 Run MRP/MPS weekly (or as needed), review exception messages, and release/recommend work orders and purchase requisitions.

 Perform rough-cut and detailed capacity planning; identify bottlenecks and propose load-leveling, overtime, alternate routing, or subcontracting.

 Chair/drive the weekly planning meeting; communicate schedule changes, constraints, and recovery plans.

 Manage order promising (ATP/CTP) and provide reliable commit dates to Customer Service/PMs.

 Monitor schedule adherence, WIP health, and aging; initiate actions to resolve shortages and delays.
