Context And Mission
The Data Analytics and Visualization Group develops projects applying AI and ML systems to practical problems, as well as data visualization interactives and videos using data from HPC simulations. Behind these projects is an infrastructure that provides technology and tools to ingest, store, organize, and process large quantities of data and transform them into formats and systems adapted to their end product.
The student intern will work on NLP and applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence to a dataset of food recipes to discover and establish the relationship between the gastronomical heritage of different regions in Europe. The student will also work on acquiring and organizing the data, and collaborating on the development of the final application.
