Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Material Control Analyst to join our team in Richburg, South Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate management of inventory and smooth material flow to support production processes. This role requires working directly on the warehouse floor, often around heavy machinery, to maintain operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities:
• Generate and update material control reports to provide accurate inventory information.
• Maintain and update the inventory management system to track part numbers and adjustments.
• Monitor and record inventory adjustments, including cycle count results.
• Assign storage locations in inventory for incoming materials and oversee part-to-part transfers.
• Investigate and resolve errors related to inventory discrepancies and location assignments.
