Material Engineer

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Material Engineer to join our team In this role you will get to involve in monitoring, inspection, coordination, witnessing, documentation of all material of the project to ensure that the project is constructed as per Contract requirements and specifications.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Review the Contractor's material submittals and obtain the required approvals according to the applicable standards and project specifications.
• Serves as the focal point for the scheduling and control of construction materials and equipment at the job site.
• Conduct inspections to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications.
• Coordinate the work of subconsultants for material testing.
• Maintain office files related to the project, material inspections and write daily diaries.
