Material Handler - 1st Shift

POSITION SUMMARY Amerhart is currently hiring for Material Handlers in our Jackson, MI - Amerhart facility. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform all duties associated with shipping, receiving, and stocking warehouse material. As a member of the Operations team, offering to help others when the workload demands, treating teammates with respect and care and performing work in a safe manner according to safety policies and procedures is critical. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Unload common carrier trucks and railroad cars and replenish product in the designated location in the warehouse. Pick orders using a forklift until the order is completely filled. Report any problems such as shortages or damaged material, etc. Inquire with sales team member when orders cannot be shipped as ordered and make changes as directed by sales.
