Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Division: Columbus McKinnon CorporationLocation: Chattanooga, TN Weekend shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday with potential overtime hours on Wednesdays or Thursdays Role Summary: This position is responsible for maintaining and accurately reporting the flow of material at both plants including Work-in-Process, Semi-finished Goods and Finished Goods. The employee transfers empty material handling containers to departmental staging areas and services the material handling needs of the production employees at their assigned plant. Key Accountabilities:

Using dead weights, check scale accuracy every morning.

Weigh, tag and record inventory transactions for all production, warehouse and outside processing functions.

Record inventory movements in CMBIS modules to ensure accurate inventory records.

Locate store items in proper rack locations.

Maintain required paperwork.
