Material Handler Position Overview The Material Handler maintains material requirements for all production needs. A Material Handler in a manufacturing setting is responsible for the timely and efficient movement of raw materials, components, and finished products within the production facility. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that the production process runs Material Handler Essential Functions Reads production schedule and determines material requirements for production. Moves materials and containers from storage or work sites to designated areas to meet requirements of production schedule. Identifies materials and containers with suitable tags or labels. Cleans work areas, machines, and equipment to assist operators. Loads loose materials into hoppers and containers. Mix materials according to product requirements.
