Material Handler

A globally leading consumer device company based in Sunnyvale, CA is looking for the Laboratory Equipment Handler to join their team. They will be responsible for moving laboratory equipment around a lab environment between two buildings. They will work under the direction of the laboratory manager or supervisor to ensure that equipment is moved safely and efficiently, in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines. This role requires the ability to handle heavy equipment and operate various types of machinery. Key Responsibilities: • Move laboratory equipment, such as Audio/RF test chambers and other large test fixtures from one location to another within the lab • Safely operate manual equipment, such as hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks to move equipment that weighs around 50-70lbs • Push or pull equipment on a pallet jack that may weigh over 300lbs • Occasionally lift equipment that requires 2 or more people and weighs over 100lbs • Inspecting crate deliveries...
