Material Handler Location: Bloomfield, CT, 06002 Duration: 12 months of contract with possibility of extension and FTE Shift Timing: 2nd Shift, (3.00 PM to 11.30 PM) Job Description: Summary: The main function of a material handler is to manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other unskilled general labor. Job Responsibilities: ttach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information. Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs. Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
