Material Handler

**Job Title: Material Handler**
**Responsibilities**
Conduct regular safety checks of storage areas and equipment.
Perform physical movement of materials using handcarts, forklifts, or drum handling equipment.
Pick parts and products for shipments, ensuring accuracy.
Create and maintain transactional inventory records using scanners and SAP ERP software.
Maintain accurate files of packing and shipping activity.
Communicate and notify appropriate personnel of shipping inventory discrepancies.
Quantify and verify cycle counts and rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
Report discrepancies and shortages.
Check incoming materials for damage or leaks and ensure proper labeling.
Receive and issue material requisitions from internal and external departments.
Maintain material handling equipment.
Create inbound and outbound paperwork, and prepare chemsure loads.
