Job Title: Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety checks of storage areas and equipment.
• Perform physical movement of materials using handcarts, forklifts, or drum handling equipment.
• Pick parts and products for shipments, ensuring accuracy.
• Create and maintain transactional inventory records using scanners and SAP ERP software.
• Maintain accurate files of packing and shipping activity.
• Communicate and notify appropriate personnel of shipping inventory discrepancies.
• Quantify and verify cycle counts and rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Report discrepancies and shortages.
• Check incoming materials for damage or leaks and ensure proper labeling.
• Receive and issue material requisitions from internal and external departments.
• Maintain material handling equipment.
