**Job Title: Material Handler**
**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct regular safety checks of storage areas and equipment.
+ Perform physical movement of materials using handcarts, forklifts, or drum handling equipment.
+ Pick parts and products for shipments, ensuring accuracy.
+ Create and maintain transactional inventory records using scanners and SAP ERP software.
+ Maintain accurate files of packing and shipping activity.
+ Communicate and notify appropriate personnel of shipping inventory discrepancies.
+ Quantify and verify cycle counts and rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
+ Report discrepancies and shortages.
+ Check incoming materials for damage or leaks and ensure proper labeling.
+ Receive and issue material requisitions from internal and external departments.
+ Maintain material handling equipment.
+ Create inbound and outbound paperwork, and prepare chemsure loads.
