Job Description
The Material Handler will assist with the inventory management and distribution of products by loading/unloading shipments, pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies, and staging finished product.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7a - 3:30 pm
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Safely open containers using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer and other hand-operated tools.Load and unload deliveries using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.Precisely count, weigh and/or measure incoming or outgoing items in a timely manner; compare identifying information to bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records to ensure accuracy. Thoroughly examine incoming shipments for damages and/or discrepancies and notify supervisor in a timely manner to rectify issues, as needed.Assist in reviewing pick sheets based on customer orders/production demand and pull the correct product(s)...
