**Material Manager**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Builds, leads, and develops a team of sourcing professionals.
- Creates, implements, and maintains an industry best request for proposal process to maintain favorable positions across relevant commodity classes and components.
- Works to develop longer-range supply strategies and plans that drive significant value while meeting the business requirements.
- Communicates actively with other team members to keep an accurate picture of material availability at all times. Takes ownership of the availability of raw materials and components to meet the factory production schedule.
- Drives annual cost savings through effective strategies and negotiations to meet annual budget projections.
- Establishes and maintains framework for make versus buy decisions related to components.
