Material Planner and Production Planner

Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking Production Planning Support in its Norfolk VA location.This individual will be responsible forplanning, scheduling, coordinating and/or monitoring final approval of products through the complete production cycle to meet production schedules and requirements.

Essential Functions:

Work from drawings bills of materials to estimate materials and labor pricing. 

Advise management of the status of work in progress by coordinating with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain as well as interfacing with engineering. 

Bid and support of jobs in progress and supporting production line by tracking the workflow. 

Work to resolve material shortages for backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. 

Work on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring some judgement.

Works under limited supervision; fully proficient to perform production planning.
