Material Planner

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Management: Handle data migration, transformation (using tools like DTW), and validation.
• Customization & Development: Develop functional designs, create reports (Crystal Reports), write queries, and implement customizations
• Manage system upgrades, continuous improvements, and stay updated on new SAP B1 features
• Assist manager in material planning activities.
• Ensure SAP system data is accurate and up to date (Item master, price, and BOM (Bill of Materials)).
• Confirm that customer orders, forecasts, or planned demands are correctly entered.
• Check for missing or inconsistent data (e.g., supplier's details, or incorrect lead times).
• Ensure that MRP generated PO are successfully sent to supplier by purchasing team.
• Follow up with buyers on delivery commitments and ensure timely updates in the PO reports.
• Monitor critical parts and assist in preparing shortage summaries and pull-in requests.
• Assist in preparing daily and monthly reports for management review.
• Perform ad-hoc administrative and coordination tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in a similar planning or purchasing role preferred.
• Work experience in electronics manufacturing field will be an added advantage.
• Deep functional knowledge of SAP B1 modules.

• Familiarity with SQL, Crystal Reports, and potentially SAP Business One Integration Framework (B1i) or SDK.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, etc.).

• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Material requirement Planning will be an advantage.
