Role Purpose

STL (Sterlite Technologies Ltd) are continuing to grow rapidly and to support the next stage of our growth in the Datacenter business.

Supporting function to the different cross-functional teams like NPD, SCM, Operations etc. with the right material selection and development to meet specific product requirements.


Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate material solutions aligned with product development roadmap.
  • Conduct testing, analysis and benchmarking of materials to optimize performance and cost.
  • Partner with the Supply Chain Management team to qualify new suppliers and raw materials amid raw material or cost challenges.
  • Coordinate with external laboratories (third party) for material testing, product testing and certification.


Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of thermoplastics, additives, fillers, flame retardants, and structure property relationships.
  • Hands-on experience in polymer characterization tools – DSC, FTIR, TGA, FESEM etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across production, quality, and R&D departments.
