Materials & Assembly Technician

Overview

Location: Cambridge (CB21). Type: Temporary. Duration: 8 weeks initially, could be extended or go permanent. Hours: 40 hours per week, 08:00-16:30 with 30 minutes lunch break. Salary: £12.50 - £14.50 per hour, dependent on experience. Job Reference: 35971. Free lunch, hot and cold drinks provided for all staff! This role involves managing stock levels, ordering and receiving parts, picking and issuing materials alongside mechanical and electrical assembly work on sub-assemblies and full system builds. This role would suit a reliable, detail-focused team player who is comfortable using tools, working with IT systems and supporting production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
