Job Description

SUMMARY: Materials coordinator owns the process of coordinating activities related to warehouse administration (shipping, receiving, material handling), purchasing of raw material and indirect products, and all the activities that include the daily planning or production orders. This position requires the ability to use, understand and work with a different document such as packing slips, purchase orders, requisitions, process sheets, and any special instructions, and the ability to work independently with little or no supervision required. The position also requires employees to be involved in all the production cycle, establishing production schedules, labor loading, capacity requirements, monitoring outside services providers, material cost reduction and savings projects.
