Job Responsibilities: Compile datasets from literature for basic physical and mechanical properties, complex mechanical phenomena (e.g. creep, fatigue, creep-fatigue, stress corrosion cracking, and fracture), irradiation performance, corrosion, and tribology Perform Qualification of Existing Data per ASME NQA-1-2015 Develop material property correlations and advanced material performance models as input to computer codes and methods to demonstrate the performance of reactor systems, structures, and components. Plan, execute, and oversee test programs designed to address data gaps Perform quantitative and statistical analysis on test data and generate technical reports to document new knowledge related to reactor design and qualification Update and maintain a Python-based material database as well as associate...
