Materials Engineer

Position : Materials Engineer

Location : Bangalore

Experience : 1+ Years (Relevant Experience Required)

Qualification : B.Tech in Polymer Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Any Degree

Notice Period : Immediate / 15 Days Notice Period

Job Requirements:

• Basic data entry skills and proficiency in MS Office .
• Ability to read and understand specifications, test methods, drawings, work instructions, and standard job procedures .
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures without deviation.
• Awareness of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute sample preparation and testing activities on a daily basis.
• Coordinate with the test laboratory to ensure timely completion of tests as per plan.
• Collect test data from various stakeholders and assist in result compilation.
• Perform testing activities as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) .
• Manage samples and materials throughout their lifecycle as per lab procedures.
• Ensure adherence to EHS guidelines and maintain a safe workspace.
• Collaborate with logistics for internal and external sample movement.
• Work with departmental heads for material approvals.
• Support in mechanical testing activities (e.g., Universal Testing Machine, Flame Chamber).
• Conduct regular maintenance of testing equipment and tools.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock of lab supplies and materials.
