Materials Handler

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for providing logistical support for the movement, storage, control and protection of raw materials, supplies, work in process products and finished products. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment and decision-making abilities, and the ability to multitask. Excellent customer service skills and a strong knowledge of raw materials used in the assembly/manufacturing of aerospace vehicles.
Responsibilities
· Inspect freight upon arrival, document any signs of damage, and resolve freight claims in a timely manner.
· Responsible for inbound receiving. Accurately receive all inbound deliveries into ERP system and maintain records of all receipts in compliance with VG requirements.
· Visually monitor inventory levels and communicate low levels to buyers, schedulers, and others as necessary.
· Complete inventory transactions to receive and issue inventory as required.
