Job Overview

The Material Engineer is a crucial role in ensuring that all materials used in projects meet the required specifications and are approved by relevant authorities.

• This involves reviewing and approving contractor-proposed materials, preparing daily diaries, overseeing contractor activities, attending factory visits and supplier inspections as needed, following up on testing approvals from relevant authorities, reviewing contractor testing requests and reports.

To be successful in this position, one must have extensive knowledge of infrastructure networks and hands-on experience with ISO9000 quality systems. Additionally, at least 10 years of work experience in design construction supervision water pipeline sewerage rising mains pumping stations is essential.
