Materials Manager (Purchasing/ Planning)

Responsibilities

• Mentor and manage the Focus Factory Purchasing team to ensure optimum effectiveness while acting as a role model and projecting a positive attitude.
• Monitor workload distribution among the team members and allocate tasks appropriately.
• Ensure the Focus Factory Purchasing team is following all Processes and work instructions on a regular basis and participate in this process as required.
• Ensure Buyer attend WO Detail meetings, are prepared to provide status updates to the team.
• Act as a liaison to customer for purchasing issues to ensure effective resolution.
• Ensure team members are trained and have a good understanding of the requirements of customer contracts (LOI/LOU, PSA, MSA, etc.) and are in compliance with the applicable requirements.
• Initiate new programs or concepts to enhance purchasing activities.
