Materials Planner Ii

Position Summary:
Owns and drives the Sales, Inventory, and planning process. Manages Production Sales Inventory (PSI) Specialists.
Major Responsibilities:
- Analyzes inventory turns for product lines, warehouses and customer stocking programs. Liaisons with cross functional business teams to prepare for sales promotions, seasonal products, and new product introductions.
- Develops and maintains product availability dashboards, scorecards, and metrics to review forecast accuracy. Maintains item attributes at the warehouse and plant level to ensure appropriate stocking levels are achieved.
- Collaborates with cross functional teams to drive Lean Six Sigma policy deployment projects for the improvement inventory availability.
- Manages the process to reduce excess and obsolete inventory. Develops policies and procedures to determine root cause and better allocate resources and plant capacity in the future.
