Job Description
Job Purpose: Materials Planning Supervisor will support in the planning, initial provisioning and Replenishment of aircraft spares including Rotables, Buyer Furnish Equipment (BFE), Inflight Entertainment (IFE), Consumables, tools and Commercial items in order to meet all Entry into Service (EIS), operational and maintenance demands at Line and Base Maintenance. Also assist in inventory reviews to ensure optimum inventory levels and data accuracy.
In this role, you will:
Assist Materials Planning Officer to prepare float/Initial Provisioning/Replenishment by analysing manufacturer recommendations and surplus review data. Compile accurate data for calculation of float/Economical Ordering Quantity and detect/report discrepancies.
Carry out review of non-moving and slow-moving items as per Surplus Review Plans and identify surplus stock items to reduce and optimize the inventory.
