Mathematics and Science Tutor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated freelance Mathematics and Science teacher to provide high-quality online instruction for GCSE, SAT, and Australian curriculum students . The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Mathematics and Science and proven experience teaching international students in English.

You will play a key role in helping students achieve excellent exam results by building strong conceptual understanding and effective exam techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive online Mathematics and Science lessons.
• Provide personalised academic support and constructive feedback.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs and ability levels.
• Prepare students for exams with a strong focus on problem-solving and exam strategies.
• Create and share high-quality teaching resources (lesson plans, worksheets, mock tests, etc.).
• Track student progress and provide regular updates to parents/guardians.
• Build a positive, motivating, and professional learning environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience teaching Mathematics and Science (GCSE / SAT / Australian curriculum preferred).
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
• Experience teaching international students (UK/Australia preferred).
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Reliable internet connection and familiarity with online platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
• Degree in Mathematics, Science or a related field (preferred).
• Ability to create engaging digital teaching materials (PowerPoints, quizzes, etc.).
• Minimum 1+ year of online or international tutoring experience.
