Prospero Teaching is pleased to partner with a well-regarded independent P–12 Christian school in Northern Sydney seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher, with capacity to teach Advanced and Extension Mathematics. More about the teaching role:
As a valued member of the secondary teaching team, you will deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the NSW curriculum, inspiring students to develop problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.

You will contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, collaborating closely with colleagues and participating in pastoral care and co-curricular programs that support student development.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver differentiated Mathematics lessons, including Advanced and Extension Mathematics

• Provide timely, constructive assessment and feedback to enhance student learning

• Actively participate in pastoral care and co-curricular activities

• Maintain professional and effective communication with students, parents, and staff

• Utilise digital learning platforms to support teaching and learning

Our essential criteria:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and current NSW teacher accreditation (or eligibility)

• Valid Working with Children Check clearance

• Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Mathematics, including Advanced and Extension levels

• Effective classroom management and lesson planning skills

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice

• Positive contribution to school culture and extracurricular life

• Professional conduct and presentation consistent with school values
