Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the development of motor control unit based on the vehicle specification -1. Manage the motor control unit development project from concept to industrialization.
2. Propose cost-effective solutions for the vehicle drivetrain platforms ensuring compliance to process checklists for both HW and SW.
3. Provide design and quality guidelines for prototypes and industrialization. Review schematics, layouts, WCA, DFMEA and all process-related milestones for quality assurance.
4. Define functional safety goals and their implementation according to ISO . Lead the definition of motor controllers roadmap, strategy and process -1. Ensure that designs and investments meet domestic and global market automotive requirements
2. Participate to the definition of technologies and research flows needed to develop state-of-the-art motor control units.
3. Investigate new topologies and control algorithms and their suitability for the projects.
Identify key suppliers/partners and potential research collaborations Support planning and execution of DVP for motor control units and RCA on failures -1. Create DVP plan for motor control units together with testing team.
2. Support in definition of required tools and testing infrastructure.
3. Define/improve specification standards for HMCL motor control units.
4. Troubleshoot and fix failures from testing activities. Manage and lead reuse of existing platforms and design resources to help reduce total development time and investments -1. Implement lessons learnt into designs.
2. Generate and validate a simulation model for existing designs.
3. Carry out benchmarking on competitor components.
4. Define required modularities/scalability concepts to achieve flexibility in motor control unit designs.Apply for this Position
