Overview

The Meat Wrapper is responsible to ensure that customer service is provided through maintaining a safe and efficient operation while adhering to Company policies, procedures and standards. The Meat Wrapper position reports directly to the Meat Supervisor/Meat Manager, and the main responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

  • Provides customer service and maintains positive customer relations through the proper handling of customer questions, comments, requests and complaints. Effectively works in a diverse team environment in a proficient and friendly manner.
  • Plans and performs all aspects of meat wrapping functions including but not limited to stocking, displays and facing in an efficient and organized manner. Ensures display presentation and stock levels are maintained.
  • Handles merchandise ensuring quality, minimizing damages, and markdowns. Provides substitutions and ensures price integrity.
