Profile - Surface Modeling Design Engineer

Qualification - B.Tech - mech.

Experience - Min. 6+ yrs. in surface modeling , and EV or two-wheeler design and development industry. (Proficiency in 3D surfacing tools like Alias, CATIA (ICEM Surf / Generative Shape Design), Rhino, or Siemens NX. With rendering and visualization tools (KeyShot, VRED, Blender) is a plus.) (Knowledge of materials, plastic molding .Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for manufacturability.)

Strong understanding of Class A/B surfacing principles and parametric/non-parametric modeling techniques.

Knowledge of aerodynamics, ergonomics, and vehicle packaging.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including styling, engineering, and production.

We are seeking a Surface Modeling Design Engineer with expertise in Class A/B surface modeling for electric two-wheelers. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, aesthetic surface development, and parametric design techniques to create visually appealing and aerodynamically efficient vehicle componentsDevelop high-quality surface models for vehicle body panels, fairings, fenders, and other aesthetic components using Alias, CATIA, or Rhino.

Collaborate with industrial designers and styling teams to transform sketches and concepts into manufacturable 3D surfaces.

Ensure Class A/B surfacing meets aesthetic, aerodynamic, and manufacturing feasibility requirements.

Work closely with chassis and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of surface designs with structural components.

Optimize designs for lightweight, durability, and cost-effectiveness while maintaining design intent.

Support prototyping and testing to validate surface quality and fitment.

Conduct design reviews and refinements based on feedback from styling, engineering, and production teams.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EV design trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
