Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Welder position in Goose Creek, SC with one of our Clients in the Ship Building Industry.
 
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of Structural Welding experience 
  • Shipyard welding experience 
  • Must be able to pass Pulse Mig (GMAW-P) in 2G, 3G, 4G positions 1” thickness with a backgouge
  • Spray in 2G positions ¾” thickness 2G plate test
  • Flux cored (FCAW) in 2G, 3G, 4G plate test 3/4” thickness with backing
  • Must be able to weld in all 3 positions (horizontal, overhead, and vertical)
  • Performs welding on steel parts and assemblies to required tolerance using welding metals and metal alloys.
